The conference will be taking place over three locations.
We kick off on the evening of the 16th in The Black Box. This City Centre venue is the home of ikon’s monthly experiments in transformance art. The Black Box represents an important part of the local grass roots art scene and has established itself as one of Belfasts premiere venues for new music, theatre and cabaret.
Between 17:30 and 19:30 people are invited to meet in the cafe to register for the conference and mingle. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Then, at around 19:45, we will be joining the ‘Insurrection’ tour in McHugh’s bar just around the corner. McHugh’s is a beautiful Irish pub that is housed in one of the oldest building in Belfast, dating back to its establishment in 1711.

The talks and workshops on the 17th will all be taking place in the Irish School of Ecumenics (part of Trinity College, Dublin).

Limited parking is available on the premise, however you may need to park on one on the nearby streets if there is no room.
Then, that evening, it is back to The Black Box for a St.Patricks night concert.
The conference will finish off back at the ISE the next morning.
